What secret is her mother keeping?

Joey’s Review:

This is a very short story, so there is little I can say that will keep it out of spoiler territory. To be honest, stories this short feel like there's not enough room for me to connect as a reader. I'm usually left wanting something more.  However, this is a cute little story, and if wanting more is the only real complaint, then I'm a lousy complainer. I think you'll like it, if you give it a read.
