Description:

Haunted by paranormal abilities that she can’t control, and plagued by nightmares about a demon that seeks her soul, Lily Anima travels to New Orleans in search of salvation.

In the French Quarter, Lily dives into the paranormal world and enlists the help of an unlikely couple: a vampire, Lawrence Justice, and a werewolf, Trevor Pack.

As the trio encounters ghosts, voodoo and unspeakable evil, will Trevor and Lawrence be able to help Lily turn her powers into a gift rather than a curse? And when Lily discovers that she needs to lose her virginity in order to embrace her powers and get the demon off her back, will the twosome be able to survive as a threesome?

Brandi’s Review:

Let me begin with this; I'll take a Law and a Trevor, thank you very much!  One word to describe them both, SWOONWORTHY!  They are an excellent reason to read this book.  Their love and devotion and acceptance is just lovely.  I'm a little undecided about Lily, but I think her caring for the guys won me over.

Now for the nuts and bolts of the book were a bit confusing.  I felt there were holes in the story, things that weren't explained or looked into.  One of the biggest things was who Lily got into their place, and I was a little unclear of the description of the guys joint book store/home.  But some stranger enters your home when you are about to get busy and then they decide to help her because they were attracted? Eh.  Also I was a little bothered by the back and forth of "we don't know one another, we can't trust one another" to the "we're so attracted to one another and want to be with you" that happened with the guys and Lily.  I think another 500 words or more would have maybe smoothed things out.

But overall, between the guys and the story itself, it's definitely worth picking up.

  1. Glad that you enjoyed Law and Trev. They'll be returning for more this fall with the sequel, "Chains of Silver."
