Description:

Sandra Cranston, an elementary teacher on leave, discovers a carriage deep in the woods. Inside is a man, Jerrod Ross, who fuels all of her wicked Regency dreams and fantasies.

Ross has been torn from the only world he has ever known—1821 Cornwall, England. How will he adjust to the future and his growing desire for the lovely lady who found him? More importantly, how will he ever return to his time?

Nissie’s Review:

I love time travel romance and I've read a lot of them. A few have been disappointments. Not the case here. I thoroughly enjoyed this short tale of traveling across centuries and finding true love.

It's the year 1821 and Jerrod is trying to get home during a terrible thunder storm. The carriage he's in is struck by lightening and he wakes up in the 21st century and is rescued by Sandra. I love the way they interacted and the things they both struggled with felt real to me. I was thrilled to finally see a woman question whether she could give up electricity and hot running water. So many times in a time travel story those things are never even addressed.

The sex was steamy but not over the top.

Ms Gerrard has created two characters that I really liked. In fact the only downside to the story was I didn't get enough. I would have loved to have spent more time with them.

I look forward to reading more by this author.
