Description:

When lost love shows up on your doorstep, what do you do?  Minnie Schultz slams the door in his face. She and Gordon Anderson have a history—close to ancient history, given the fifty years since their last encounter. After all that time, it might seem like water under the bridge. But the water pours from the plumbing in Minnie’s bed and breakfast, the Lilac Bower, uncovering all the secrets and heartache between them. With the help of some paranormal investigators, an Elvis impersonator and a couple of nosey friends, can Minnie and Gordon find the future they were meant to have?

Joey’s Review:

Ah, it’s nice to get a unique tale. I’m not always in the mood for hard bodies and perfect heroes and heroines. And what’s nice about this story is the reminder that love doesn’t have an age limit. Neither does the possibility for an interesting story.  Hauntings of the Heart offers a great mix of warmth, humor, heartache and more. Another lovely offering from Astraea Press. Honestly, if you have a preference for romance with a sweeter story-telling bent, try this publisher out. I am consistently impressed with the novels received.

And definitely give Ms. Vaughn a try. An author I will definitely be looking out for in the future.

  1. This made me smile! 'I’m not always in the mood for hard bodies and perfect heroes and heroines'. It's true though, sometimes not so perfect bods and a sweeter, more humourous theme to the story is a real tonic. Good luck!
