Description:

Aussie wine heir Bryan Lassiter wanted nothing more than to be a self made man. When online love Carrie Sorrell flies half way round the globe to visit him, she’d no idea his magnetism would erase both their fourteen-year age difference and her common sense. As fate and a powerful family collide to tear them apart, will she have the strength to let him go or will it be the secret she’s so carefully protected that destroys?

Joey’s Review:

It wouldn't be much of a stretch to say I loved this book. There were many reasons. For one, the story is quite subtle, and very emotional. Secondly, Australian male lead. I adore trying to imagine the accent in my head when I get such a rare treat. Thirdly, there's a bit of an age gap between the hero and heroine. And it's dealt with beautifully. Sometimes, I find May-December type stories that leave me scratching my head over how two people with such a gap can be attracted to one another. But Bryan is lovely. Fettered by his age in some respects, yet old beyond his years in others. It took very little to encourage my desire for these two to get together.

Ah, the frustration of wanting to ramble without spoiling. What I can say is this: This is a heart-string tugger. One that won't disappoint.
