What The Heck Is This Blog About?

Starting in January of 2011, we hope to begin posting reviews of small-press romance novels and novellas. What do we mean by romance? Contemporary, historical, erotica, etc. Heterosexual and homosexual pairings alike are accepted. The key romance elements must be there:  A love story and a happily ever after of some sort. The usual restrictions apply: No bestiality, incest, pedophilia or rape scenario storylines. Nothing illegal or depraved. Other non-romance genre elements are welcome as long as the primary focus of the story is the romance.

Initially, we will be accepting only ebook submissions, though we will consider accepting bound print-copies in the future. Very recently or soon-to-be-published authors will be our primary interest. Submissions may be temporarily closed at any given time depending on number of reviewers and time-constraints. Keep an eye on the blog for the go-sign to submit, and please follow submission guidelines, if you send a manuscript when submission are closed, it will be deleted.

So what do we need from you right now? Spread the word! We need followers in order for this to work. Writers, readers, romance junkies in general, follow now and let your friends know where to find the One Hundred Romances Project! And get prepared to support the little (romance) guy or gal.

  1. This seems to be a good idea, authors, who published with small press, need every help they can get. Wish you all the success in the world.

Fantastic! Its hard to find reviews for new authors in the ePub world. Really interested to see who you recommend and why. I love being one of the first to read a 'hidden gem' author.

  4. Hi Stella and Ann,

Thanks for coming aboard! Being a writer myself and still learning the digital publishing ropes, I'm so sympathetic to debut authors who are fighting for a chance to get their stories to the masses. I am really looking forward to building a blog that can lend a hand and spotlight great romances we might not hear about through ordinary channels.
